A national level function is being organised at the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala in Ferozepur district of Punjab. It was on this day in 1931, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was hanged in Lahore central jail and were cremated on the banks of the river Satluj at Hussainiwala where the memorial exists.
