▼ Indian Railways wins World Railways Championship 2015   [06-24-15]

In the Tennis (World Railways) Championship 2015, Indian Railway Team defeated France by a margin of 3-1 in the finals and won USIC Tennis Championship 2015 held at Nuremberg, Germany from 31 May 2015 to 6 June 2015. In the Volleyball (World Railways) Championship 2015, Indian Railway Team defeated Russian team and won USIC Volleyball Championship 2015 held at Gomel, Belarus from 10 June 2015 to 17 June 2015.

This is the fourth time that Russia won the title since the inception of games in 2009. In totality, Russia won the 368.5 points, 22 points ahead of Germany which secured second place. France had their best finish at the championships, coming third by winning 319.5 points.

▼ Goa selected as venue for FIFA 2017 Under 17   [06-21-15]

Tournament Director of FIFA U17 World Cup Javier Ceppi on 29th June’15 announced Goa as the sixth venue and handed over a provisional selection contract to the Sports Minister of Goa. Delhi, Kolkata, Navi Mumbai, Guwahati, and Kochi have already been provisionally selected for the tournament. FIFA is to ratify the venues after inspecting the selected grounds and stadium in September 2016. In all 52 matches will be played in venues in India during 2017 Under 17 FIFA World Cup and India with a direct entry will be participating first time in a FIFA World Cup.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian Cricket team on 29th June’15. The Indian cricket team will tour Zimbabwe for three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and two Twenty-20 Internationals.

He is the Former Pakistan captain. The decision was taken on 24th June’15 during the third day of the ICC Annual Conference week in Barbados. From 1969 to 1985, Zaheer played 78 Tests for Pakistan in which he scored 5,062 runs, while in his 62 ODIs, he made 2,572 runs. With 108 centuries, Zaheer is the only Asian batsman to score a century of first-class centuries as he finished his 22-year career with 34,843 runs.

The former Indian skipper got the highest number of votes to emerge on top of the list of the 100 best Test players since 2000, in a poll conducted by the website. Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara received the second highest votes, followed by Adam Gilchrist of Australia in the third position.

Golden State Warriors celebrated its first N.B.A. championship in 40 years. This was fourth overall NBA title for Golden State Warriors and the first title since 1975. The team is based on Oakland, California and has now won NBA titles in 1947, 1948, 1975 and 2015.

He surpassed Pakistani legend Wasim Akram in a test match against Bangladesh. The 'Turbanator' is now only 20 wickets short of beating Kapil Dev's 434 Test wickets to become the second highest wicket-taker in history of Indian Test cricket after Anil Kumble's 619 wickets.
