A pilot is an application or product given to a set of users who are trying to test the system prior to complete deployment. Based on these pilot’s inputs, changes are made.

Goals:

- To simulate a system that will work similar to the actual end product.
- Provide training to users to use the system
- Testing and deployment procedures for the users
- Notes should be made to make a list of problem areas
