What is a release candidate, and what are some of its features?

A release candidate is a term used for the application version which is ready to be used a product. An application has different versions; when a version is accepted by the client it transforms to a Release candidate.

Features:-

- All deigned and documented features are included
- No bugs hampering the performance of the system may appear in this release candidate
- Code is usually complete at this stage
- Code may be changed; but new code is not added
