How to crack CA (Finals)?

Asked by: Guest - 12 May 16
I am appearing for CA (Finals) the third time. I have cleared all the previous stages in the first time. I am into the management level in a MNC and hardly get time for quality preparation. What should be my approach to crack the finals in this attempt?

It is better to start preparation at least 6 months before the exams. This is the time to plan the study syllabus and stick to the schedule honestly. Any slip from the routine could lead to big lag in the completion of the topics.

There are 8 subjects to be covered. The first reading, understanding of the concepts which involves the in-depth study of the topics should be completed in a span of around 4 months. This time should be fully utilized to gain complete knowledge of the subjects. The remaining 2 months should be ideally used for revision and mock test. The candidates can use 6-7 week time for the revision of the topics and remaining week or 10 days should be devoted for mock tests. Mock tests actually help in self-assessment.
