The main programme currently offered by the School leads to
the degree of Master of Business Administration from IIT Kharagpur. This is a
full-time four-semester (2 year) residential programme for graduate engineers
and Masters' degree holders in science, economics and commerce, intending to
pursue management careers in India or abroad.
In a relatively short period, VGSOM has been recognised as
one of the top business schools in India . The MBA curriculum has evolved to be
among the best in the country combining the traditional strengths of IIT in
technical education with modern management philosophy.

Joint Management Entrance Test 2010 (JMET 2010) is the first
step in the process of admission to the TWO YEAR FULL TIME Postgraduate Degree
Programmes in Management offered by NIT Calicut and the IITs for the academic
year commencing July/August 2010.JMET 2010 will be conducted on Sunday,
December 13, 2009 from 10:00 hours to 13:00 hours.The results will be announced
on Monday, January 4, 2010.
