    - V model means Verification and Validation Model, just like waterfall model, but its execution process is different from waterfall model.

    - It has a sequential path for execution of processes.

    - Each phase must be completed before the next phase begins.

    - In V model, acceptance test cases are prepared when user requirements are gathered.

    - The user requirements document describe the system's functions, performance, data, security etc. requirements, as expected by the user.

    - These test cases are used by business analysts to communicate their understanding of the system to the user.

    - The user carefully reviews the specific document of the system as this document would serve as the guideline for the system designers in the system design phase.

    - The product of testing is planned in parallel with a corresponding phase of development.
