1st phase states were – Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, MP, UP, Odisha and Rajasthan. 2nd will focus efforts in 1-2 selected districts in the 8 states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, MP, UP, Odisha and Rajasthan. The scheme has also been extended for 5 years to NE and J&K.
