    - For static failure, θ ≤ θL & for fatigue failure = θ ≥ θL

    - The angle θ corresponds to actual stress point.

    θ = tan-1 (σa / σm) or tan-1 (τa / τm)

    - Angle θL corresponds to intersection point of static failure and fatigue failure.
