    - The efficiency of power screw can be improved by replacing sliding friction by rolling friction.

    - Recirculating ball screws have rolling friction. It consists of screw, nut and steel balls. In these screws, there is no direct contact between screw and the nut threads and achieve contact through the steel balls.

    - The rotary motion can be converted into linear motion, as they have low coefficient of friction.

    - These screws are used in NC-CNC machine tools and in automobile steering gears.
