    DHCP Server : It automatically provides an internet protocol. It provides a mechanism that allows a computer to join a new network and obtain an IP address without manual intervention.

    Proxy Server : It makes indirect network connections to other network services. Proxy sever can be a program running on the same machine working as a browser or it can be a free standing machine.

    Mail Server : It works as a virtual post office. The actual mail transfer is carried out through the Message Transfer Agent (MTA). To send a mail, a system should have the client MTA and to receive a mail, it should have a server MTA.
