    Truss:

    - All members in the truss are two force members is true. The two axial forces acting on the truss are tensile and compression. Truss is connected by panel points at joints which may be straight.

    - Bent members can be used in frame not in trusses. In trusses, load acts only on joints.

    - Trusses are used to support inclined roof covering. They are also used in the construction of towers and bridges.

    Frame:

    - A frame consists of multi-force member on one of its individual member. It shows bending action along with axial force. Frames are joined by welding and bolting. In frame, load acts on members also.

    - Frames are used to lift loads or support them.
