    - The different types of manufacturing processes are:

    1) Metal forming: In this process, metal is poured into the mould. The different metal forming process are: forging, press work, rolling, extrusion.

    2) Surface finish: In this process, metal tool is used obtain surface finish. The different surface finishing processes are: grinding, honing, lapping, buffing and polishing.

    3) Sheet metal working: In this process, components are formed from sheet metals. The different sheet metal working processes are bending, drawing, blanking and punching.

    4) Metal joining: In this process, two metallic parts are joined together by heating them. The different metal joinig processes are welding, brazing, soldering, mechanical fasteners and adhesive bending.
