    - Copper alloyed with zinc is called as brass and if it is alloyed with other elements such as tin, then it is called as bronze.

    - Brass is used for decorative materials, musical instruments, plumbing and electronics, etc.

    - Bronze is used in boat and ship fittings. They have good resistance to salt water corrosion hence are used for propellers and submerged bearings.
