ECI has decided to introduce this system to ensure free and fair 2017 assembly elections in Punjab.

Mobile apps are for maintaining law and order and streamlining the functioning of polling staff.

These important features will enable real time data pertaining to polling by polling staff.

Complaints received by the ECI will also be dealt online.

Specialized training will be provided to poll officers and officials to get them aware of modern technology at the time of elections.
