    Pitch cone distance is the length of pitch cone element

    Given: Diameter of pinion (dp) = 20 and diameter of gear (dg) = 30

    Formula: Pitch cone distance = √(( dp / 2)2 + ( dg / 2)2)
    = 18.02 mm
