    - Relation between Celsius and Fahrenheit scale is given as:

    (oC / 5) = (oF – 32) / 9

    - Ice point is considered as 32° and steam point as 212° on Fahrenheit scale. This range is equally divided into 180 parts.

    - Celsius scale has ice point at 0° and steam point at 100° C. This temperature range is divided in to 100 equal parts and each represents 1° C.

    - Kelvin temperature: At this temperature ice, liquid water and water vapour co-exist. This point is known as triple point of water.

The value of Kelvin scale is considered as -273.16° C in terms of Celsius scale.
