Why is Zero-bug bouncing a positive indicator for the project?

Zero bug bounce is a point where development catches up with testing and there are no active bugs at that point of time. It is a positive indicator as it states that scheduling of development and testing is going in parallel and the bug peaks after zero bounce are noticeably smaller and continue to decrease, which ends with a stable candidate build. A zero bug bounce clearly states that the team is nearing the completion of development with a stable release candidate. It creates a benchmark for the team to achieve and thus works effectively for further builds and releases as well.
