What do you mean by Twisted-pair Cabling?

A twisted pair is a cable in which the cables are twisted at regular distances. Twisted pairs are used for transferring signals with high frequency, instead of coax cable. The twisted pair is a balanced system, which anti phase signals are being transmitted on a pair of wires. Certain sophisticated twisted pairs allow the transferring of certain signals, like audio and 2 video channels.
