  • yes.. definitely some extra tym should be given in all the examinations as like in boards we get but in our college exam or any other entrance exam we don't get it. there should be tym to just read and to take decisions about the questions from which we are more familiar with. it will be more beneficial for us... because that three hours are the most curious in which we just have to be up to point. for which the decision should be taken in that extra tym ..

  • i think students should be given extra time because we know that there may be wrong question or errors in the questions so this extra time given to students will really help to clear the doubts. And the other point is that it will also help to read the question carefully to answer properly and correctly because there may be chance in hurry that student take the question in another context and answer something else that is not supposed to.

  • Reading the question paper hardly takes some 5-10 minutes of the time. There should not be a concern in giving this time to the students to read the question paper and set-up a writing strategy, so that they can wrap up the assigned questions within the prescribed time.

When it comes to giving the time as the reading time for the question paper, it becomes a bit difficult to handle the students. Students should be instead informed of the exam being started with the distribution of the question paper to avoid the unnecessary discussions. Providing the answer sheets along with the question paper may help the students to start their answers rather than babbling and discussing the question paper in the extra-allocated time.

This extra time is the reason given by many students for the lack of time for the completion of the question paper. This extra allocated time could avoid this undue reasoning of the students. The extra-time is just a so-called helping factor. But, when we call this for reducing the stress and anxiety, it is still doubtful. Students always have a stressful situation towards the end of examination especially when it comes to handing over the answer-sheet. This anxiety and stress cannot be helped by giving any extra-time. It would just be the personality management which could help themselves get out of this stress.

  • Yes,they should get some extra time to read out and understand the questions clearly and clarify the doubts if any. As it is very important for student to write paper with calm mind otherwise generally in hurry they commit some silly mistakes which can be avoided too with this extra time. And this extra time would surely help them to get over the stress due to pressure.
