What is Video Card?



- A video card allows to send video output to display devices.

- Every mother board supports only limited video cards.

- Modern mother boards have Graphics Processing Units mounted onto them.

- Some video cards have only one port that can be connected either to monitor or to a printer.

- Video BIOS, a firm ware, governs video card operations and provides certain instructions to computer system to interact with graphics software.
