  • Taking prevention is good, but over-indulgence in anything will only have the negative impacts to lay upfront, so is the medical field and the health check-ups. People are growing more and more aware and everyone knows the lifestyle they are following. Majority people stick to their unhealthy lifestyle, fully aware of its ill-effects and future impacts. With such a lifestyle, the generalised health check-up is definitely going to show up some altered values, deflecting in varying degrees from the normal.

Even with a known impact on the readings, people cannot accept the negative range in the investigation reports all that easily. Though they were leading a so-called normal life, the abnormal reading of the investigations make them conscious and they get inflicted with more of a mental trauma rather than the actual derangement of health.

Our attitude and thinking towards our life plays a very important role in deciding our health status. The more negativity that we bear in our mind, that has a direct impact on the physical health. Such generalised health check-ups are increasing the number of people having a mental trauma for their health. Their obsessiveness is being taken advantage of. Though there are a few cases which do gets diagnosed with a regular investigatory procedure, but the ratio is too less in comparison to the whole lot.

Hence, to be precise, the generalised annual health check-ups are a mere wastage of wealth and health.
