Aspire Systems Campus Placement Process


Found in the year 1997, Aspire system is a software development service company. Aspire has its foot hold on Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Chicago, Belgium, San Jose, London and Dubai.

It has been observed that in the last seven years, Aspire system is growing at the rate of 34% per annum. It has twelve hundred plus employees and hundred plus active customers. Aspire is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. Also, in the year 2012, it has been awarded Deloitte Technology Fast50 India award.

It has also been ranked 19th among the top 50 companies to work for India by The Economic Times and Great Place to Work Institute, India. The company’s principle is ‘Attention Always’ which convey their belief in giving care and attention to their customers and employees.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for campus placement, the student should have at least scored 60 percent and above from SSC onwards. Also, he/she should not have any active backlog.
Along with the academic qualification the student should have good technical knowledge. He/ she must have basic knowledge on C, C++, Oops and Java. The student should also be good in communication and aptitude skills.

The selection process has four rounds:

• Written Test
• Technical Interview
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

Written Test

The selection process starts off with a written test. The written test usually is a combination of verbal, situational judgement, numerical and diagrammatic reasoning.
The student can expect questions on profit and loss, time and distance, age, etc. Successful candidates move on to the technical round.

It has been observed that Aspire Systems conducts two Technical interviews.

Technical Interview -1

In this round, the students are expected to answer simple questions on C programs. The interviewer may ask the students to write simple C programs. The students can be asked to write programs on

• Fibonacci series
• Without using % find if a number is even

The students can also expect questions based on Networking, DBMS and on OS.

Technical Interview-2

The students who successfully clear the first technical round qualify for the 2nd technical round. In this round the students will have to write complex programs on C, C++.
The students may get questions such as; write a program to compare two or more strings.

In order to clear the technical round the students must be well prepared on C, C++ and Java. In the technical round the student’s application ability is evaluated by the interviewer.

HR Interview

The students who clear the technical interview qualify for the last and final round. This is the HR round. The interview is conducted by the HR of the company.

The students are expected to introduce themselves. He/she may expect questions about the company and the reason for choosing Aspire Systems and along with other basic general HR questions.

In this round the student’s attitude is evaluated by the Interviewer. The students must have a positive attitude and should also be very confident.

In order to clear the interview successfully the student should always prepare in advance as answering on spot is not always helpful.
