  • For question 3:
    funcation cap() is recursive so cap(6) calls cap(3) and cap(5) {cap(n-3) & cap(n-1)
    so cap(3) calls cap(0) and cap(2)
    cap(0) returns 1 and cap(2) calls cap(-1) and cap(1)
    Since the function is in the form return 1 for values less than or equal to 1
    and cap(n-3)+cap(n-1). The net result for cap(3) is 3,
    similarly cap(5) goes as cap(2)+ cap(4) and so on result eventually to 6.
    The final ans is 9.
