You should know that to do M.Sc. you have to appear in an entrance exam. The eligibility criteria, fees structure and the duration for a M.Sc. course in Biochemistry is mentioned below.

You should have studied B.Sc. with Biochemistry/Chemistry as a major/optional. You should have obtained a minimum of 45% (40% in case of SC/ST and Category I candidates) of marks in cognate/optional subjects, putting together from all the years of the examination of the course. In case you have taken longer than prescribed duration to pass the qualifying course, a deduction of 3% from the percentage of the aggregate of marks of cognate/optional subjects for every additional year shall be applied and you should have obtained the minimum marks prescribed even after such deduction to become eligible for admission. An aspirant seeking admission to M.Sc. Biochemistry shall have to appear for Entrance Examination.

The date of the Entrance Examination will be given in the prospectus, will be notified on the Department Notice board and also in the university web site. The Entrance Exam shall be of 1 hour duration with 50 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each for a maximum of 50 marks. The syllabus for the Entrance exam will be uploaded on every University web site (as all the universities have their different set of entrance exams). The results of the Entrance exam will be announced in the Department Notice board and also in the respective university web site. There shall be no provision for revaluation with respect to Entrance exam. Entrance exam fee has to be paid through Demand Draft.
