Eligibility, selection process and fees for XLRI exam

I want to give XLRI exam. Can you please tell me the eligibility, selection process and fees involved?


XLRI or Xavier Labour Research Institutes is a very prestigious institute. The eligibility requirement for entering this reputed institute is that you should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years during or equivalent in any stream from a recognised university from India/abroad are eligible to apply. If you have experience of three or more years then you will be given preference for Global MBA.

For the selection criteria, you may apply for more than one programme. If you apply for more than one programme then you may be called for multiple interviews or group discussions. The selection criteria for different programmes may differ depending on the nature of the programme. You need to do well in the multiple XAT written examinations. XLRI actively encourages the students from diverse backgrounds. In addition to XAT performance, academic ability and work experience counts too. If you cannot be present physically for the XLRI interviews due to any valid reason then interviews would be carried out in online mode via internet.

Fees required for a management programme is around Rs. 7,85,000/- per annum. The fee does not include board and lounge and the institute reserves the right to revise the fees. Also if you want to apply for Global MBA programme then the fee is Rs. 25,000,00/- for two years and this fee includes accommodation but not boarding and other incidental cost including travel to USA and China.
