GlobalLogic Campus Placement Process


Started as Induslogic in the year 2000, with its headquarters in Mclean, Virginia and San Jose, California, GlobalLogic is offshore software R&D Services Company. GlobalLogic was founded by Rahul Garg, Sanjay Singh, Manoj Agarwal and Tarun Upadhyay.

GlobalLogic specializes in mobile devices, digital media, cloud computing, telecommunications, wireless products, commerce and business technology.
In order to expand its operations in South America, the company opened its office in Santiago, Chile in 2011. GlobalLogic has its foothold in Argentina, Chile, India, Israel, Ukraine, China, United Kingdom and United states.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for GlobalLogic campus recruitment, the student should be pursuing B.E, B.Tech, MCA. The student should not have any breaks in his/her academic career. Along with good academic qualification the student should also have good communication skills.
Placement Process

The selection process consists of three rounds

• Written Test
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

Written Test

It has been observed that the written test is divided into two sections. In all there are 50 questions in the test. Also, there is no negative marking in the written test. So the students can answer all the questions.

Mathematical Aptitude Section

The first section is the mathematical aptitude section. The student should prepare questions based on time and distance, percentage, age related questions, equations and number series. The student should also prepare questions based on area, perimeter and other questions based on geometry. It has been observed that 20 questions are asked in this section.

Technical Section

The next section is a technical section. It has been observed that there are 30 questions asked in this section. It has been observed that sometimes students are given a choice in this section.

The student can either select testing or software developing.

The student can expect questions such as

• In 10 bit ring counter, how many flip flopes are used?
• Explain the complexity of quick sort?

The student should prepare questions based on c-program and study pointer related questions, data structure, C++, compiler phase and ring counter.

Technical Interview

The students who successfully clear the written test qualify for the technical interview. It has been seen that the interview is conducted by panellist. The interviewer may ask the student his/her favourite subject and the student can expect question based on their favourite subject.

Suppose the student says programming in C-language, concepts of data structure and concepts of oops as their favourite subject. The student can expect questions such as:

• What are avl tree and their rotations?
• What is a binary search?
• Can you give an array to apply binary search?
• Explain scanf function return?

The student can also expect a few puzzles in this round. The student should prepare in advance and should be very confident and aleart.

HR Round

This is the last round of the placement process. The students who successfully clear the technical interview qualifies for this round. This round is conducted by the HR of the company.

In this round the student can expect questions based on their academic qualifications. Questions will be asked about the student’s family background, career objective, their strength and weakness.

The student may also expect questions based on their hobbies or if they have taken part in any extracurricular activity in their college.

In this round the student’s communication skills, their presence of mind, their alertness, their problem solving skills, analytical skills will be evaluated by the interviewer. The student’s ability to handle stress will also be evaluated by the interviewer.

The student can expect questions such as:

• What you will do if you are not selected then?
• Except you, who do you think is a more deserving candidate?
• And why do you think he/she deserves to be selected?

In order to clear the interview the student should prepare well in advance and be up to date with their technical knowledge.
