Sample letter to Complain about laws, policies, or inefficiencies

As a resident of Mahajan Colony, D-Block, Janak Puri , New Delhi 110058 ; I am writing this letter as I am upset about the fact that Municipal Corporation has not taken any action for the fact that the street lights in the D-Block, Janak Puri have not been working since about a week.

The traffic light at the main check post has also been non functional since two days thereby leading to huge traffic jams, fights and accidents but nothing has been done so far.

It has been three days since the garbage trucks came, thereby, leading to immense loitering of the block.

All these issues have been very conveniently ignored thereby causing huge problems for the residents of D-Block. These are basic needs and rights of the citizens and should not be ignored. Proper laws should be enforced and proper committee should be formed to ensure that these problems are addressed the very same day as they occur. Lot of children are falling sick in the Mahajan Colony on account of sewage and other problems.

It will be much appreciated if this request can be handled on immediate basis without any further delays.

Thanking you!

I am very disappointed to inform you that the laws of the XYZ society are not being properly executed. It has been almost 2 months since all the members including me were charged Rs. XXXX towards the security of the society and no promises have been fulfilled till date.

After an incident of burglary on (date) in our society at (location), the secretary had demanded the aforementioned amount from all the members towards the installation of CCTV cameras in various sections of the society.

He had also made promises that apart from the two security guards at the main entrance gate, two more guards at the second entrance gate shall soon be appointed. Our society members have together contributed a big amount towards the security enhancement measures that were promised to us.

The secretary of the society is liable to answer our queries regarding the progress of the security measures but he seems to be completely neglecting our calls and questions.

For the amount we contributed towards the security enhancements, the secretary is liable to answer us about the progress till date. We request you to make queries and reply us within 5 days or else we shall be left with no other option than to take legal actions.
