It is my great pleasure to endorse Mr. Udit Narang for the ‘Employee of the Year’ Award. After a careful review of all the employees work record including attendance, participation in social activities etc., we have zeroed upon Mr. Narang and we firmly believe that he is an eligible candidate for the award.

Udit joined as a Junior Accountant in the month of June’ 2008 and graduated to become a Senior Accountant last year. He is a hard-working and an honest employee who takes his work very seriously.

His perseverance is amazing and his conduct has been very good. Moreover, he is a source of inspiration for other employees who want to get the best out of their job duties. On may occasion, he has worked over-time and completed work in the stipulated time period. I am extremely happy to endorse him as a candidate to be bestowed with the honour of the ‘Employee of the Year’ Award.

It is a matter of great privilege for the citizen like me to get involved in the prestigious process of selecting sports personnel for the coveted Padma Awards. I am delighted to strongly

back the nomination of the legendary chess star Shri Vishwanathan Anand.

It has been our bitter but factual experience till date that we Indians generally tend to ignore the legitimate claims to supremacy being attained by various sporting legends from fields

other than cricket. Fortunately or unfortunately, we tend to hero worship only the feats of cricketers only and try to be little the overall importance and existence of similar feats

attained by legends from other fields of sports.

It is understandable that in a cricket centric country like ours, definitely other sports get only secondary importance and even superlative performances and feats attained by stars like

chess master Shri Vishwanathan Anand shockingly get faded. Agreed stalwarts like Shri Sachin Tendulkar are champs and world beaters, but dreadfully we often tend to forget the immemorable

feat of becoming world chess champion and ruling the roost in the chess arena for couple of years. It is definitely an awe inspiring performance from out country man but he is totally

ignored by the fans and critics from the entire sporting fraternity.

In consideration of the above, I strongly take up the case of legendary Vishwanathan Anand for positively considering conferring Bharat Ratna, the ultimate Civil Award any sportsman could

aspire, the way it was conferred on the great Sachin Tendulkar.

Trust the respective officials from various ministries including the sports ministry shall take up his case without fail and ensure that such genuine champs are duly recognised by the men who

    matter most.
