This is an official confirmation about the office timings and has to be followed strictly by all the employees. As we are an outsourcing company so we have the office timings different from the normal working hours of India. XYZ limited has its office timings from 6pm to 2 am. We work as per the US timings and therefore have to follow the time slot of 6pm to 2am on all the working days. We are required to work for 5 days in a week. Saturday and Sundays are off. There is a break of half an hour from 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm during which you can take the free meal offered to employees in the company’s canteen. The company is very particular about the office timings. Any one who comes late by 10 minutes to the office will be marked as absent, and no salary will be paid for the particular day. In case an employee is found to be repeatedly late then strict actions would be taken.

    This circular is to inform all our staff members that the office timings will be changing during this winter. Due to the cold wave and freezing temperature conditions at Alaska, we are now closing office at 5:00 pm due to unfavourable weather conditions. Office timings for the months of October, November, December and January will now be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The change in office timings has been necessitated due to the weather conditions. Our part-time employees will now be reporting to office at 3:00 pm and leaving at 5:00 pm for the winter months from October to January. We are opening office half an hour early so that the employees get plenty of time to finish their important projects before leaving for home. We are also making changes to the office timing as there have been several demands from our lady employees regarding the inconvenience of present office timings.

    We therefore confirm that the office timings will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one hour lunch break lasting from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in between. We will hold a meeting regarding the office timings on 31st January to decide whether we will continue with these office timings for the summer months as well. Please ensure that you are punctual so that there are no problems at work. As always, you are required to insert your card into the machine as soon as you arrive and when you leave so that your attendance can be recorded for the day. We expect all our employees to report on time. No laxity will be tolerated. We will take stern disciplinary action against those employees who do not follow office timings.
