Selection process at Sapient

Here, I am going to discuss the selection process for freshers at Sapient. The selection process consists of 3 rounds. These rounds are as follows:

1. Written Exam
2. Technical Interview
3. HR Interview

Written exam consist of three sections: Quantitative aptitude, Verbal ability and Technical section

Quantitative aptitude consists of questions from the topics like time & work, speed, time & distance, arithmetic, percentages, profit & loss, numbers, chain rule etc.

Verbal section consists of basic grammar usage questions like sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, vocabulary, etc.

Technical section consists of questions from C, C++, Data Structure etc.

In technical interview questions asked from C, C++, Data Structures, Operating System etc.

The third and final round is the HR Interview. This round is just for to check the communication skills, confidence and general awareness of the candidates.

Aptitude questions at Sapient

1. 6 men can pack 12 boxes in 7 days by working for 7 hours a day. In how many days can 14 men pack 18 boxes if they work for 9 hours a day?

2. The product of fraction A and B is (3/49). Find the value of fraction A, if fraction A is thrice fraction B.

3. If 3 spiders make 3 webs in 3 days, then 1 spider will make 1 web in how many days?
