Such as is used to give some sort of illustration or fuller explanation of a preceding incomplete statement.

E.g. He deals in sports goods, such as hockey sticks, table and tennis racquets, tennis balls, cricket bats, sports shoes etc.
Or, The human body has weapons to fights off diseases, such as the blood and the digestive juices.
