What is CAT?


Common Admission Test is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) is an entrance exam for the admission to the post-graduate courses in management. This is an all India level test. CAT scorecard is valid for admission in several management institutes all over the India which also include IIMs. This is most competed exam of the country.

What are eligibility criteria to appear in CAT exam?


The candidates seeking admission for management course through CAT must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in for reserved candidates] by any deemed University.
If the candidates are awarded Grades or CGPA rather than marks, they can be converted into percentage of marks based on the procedure certified by the university from where the degree has been obtained.

Final year students of Graduation can also apply.
