Dharamshala International Film Festival to begin on Nov 35th edition of Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) will begin on November 3 in the mountain town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala.
  • 4 day festival has announced 6 first films:
  • South Korean drama “A Korean in Paris”, cinematographer
  • Rajiv Ravi’s “Kammatipaadam”,
  • Marathi film “Lathe Joshi”,
  • “Sonita” based on Afghan rapper Sonita Alizadeh,
  • British documentary “Syrian Love Story” and
  • Thai film “The Island Funeral”.
  • Festival directors, Ritu and Tenzing, are determined that the event will maintain its established momentum.
  • DIFF is presented by White Crane Arts & Media, a trust founded by Ritu and Tenzing
  • It aims to promote contemporary cinema, art and independent media practices in the Himalayan regions of India.
  • It debuted in 2012 and showcases the best of Indian and world cinema
