    - The TCP/IP model has different layers, each providing different services.

    - DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) uses UDP protocol in the Transport layer of the OSI model.

    - DHCP is a protocol included in the Application layer while UDP is a protocol included in the transport layer.

    - DHCP is a service and UDP is the protocol carrying this service.

    - UDP is a connectionless network service at the transport layer and DHCP uses this connectionless service.

    - UDP is an unreliable (but fast) protocol that does not detect errors and correct the errors.
