Documentation serves to be an integrated part of any product because it exhibits its necessity for operation, repair, redesigns, recalls, maintenance, upgrades and fixes.

During the process of documentation, several legal liabilities also gets minimized due to overwhelming burden of operational limits, failure modes and precautions to be undertaken for avoiding hazardous operations.

Warning of hazardous operations can be conferred because of procurement and scheduling specifications. Even the modes of failure can be interpreted by building and inspecting finished good to original engineering specifications. It is also possible to specify the limits of operation on the basis of product performance.
