a. 18 pounds
b. 20 pounds
c. 25 pounds
d. 30 pounds

ANSWER: 20 pounds

Amount of rupees for exchange of 150 pounds = (150/100)*(7000/1) = Rs. 10,500
Out of these Rs.10,500, traveler spent Rs. 9060
Remaining balance in rupees = 10,500 – 9060 = Rs. 1440
Now these Rs. 1440 are exchanged back to pounds with the rate of 100 pounds for Rs. 7200
Amount in pounds = (1440 * 100) / 7200 = 20 pounds
