Generally, asynchronous presets and resets are highly susceptible to noise. Therefore, as the system clock clocks the clocked elements, i.e. in accordance to synchronization of clocked elements, there is no necessity and major role of asynchronous preset and reset especially when the system is totally synchronized.

Hence, it is worthless of using asynchronous presets and resets on clocked elements for performing system logic functions due to their high susceptibility to noise.
