Recruitment of Probationary Officers

Probationary Officers examination is conducted in 3 phases viz :

Phase I: Preliminary Examination
Phase II: Main Examination

Phase II: Main Examination (250 Marks)

Main examination consists of objective and descriptive type paper which are to be answered online. Descriptive type paper is answered by typing on the computer. Descriptive Test is administered immediately after the completion of Objective test.

Note:
1) Only marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) and marks obtained in GD & Interview (Phase-III) are considered for the preparation of final merit list.
2) Both Phase-II and Phase-III exams are to be qualified separately.
3) Marks secured by the candidates in Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is considered after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category.

1) All papers except Professional Knowledge are qualifying in nature. Minimum qualifying marks for every subject is decided by the Bank.
2) Except the paper of English Language, all other papers are bilingual (i.e.Hindi and English) and can attempted on choice of the candidate.
