consider vice-chairman & chairman as a single unit and add this unit to the 8 no.of directors.And totally now you have 9 members (8 directors + 1 unit).These 9 can be arranged around the round table in (9-1)!=8! ways.And Vice-chairman & chairman can be arranged in 2! ways. among themselves.....Therefore answer is 8!*2
