Definitions - JAD (Joint Application Development) is a methodology that involves the client or end user in the design and development of an application, through a succession of collaborative workshops called JAD sessions. - RAD application development methodology goes further than JAD in reducing the time taken to develop an application, is not always as structured as the JAD and focuses more on software development than JAD - Computer-aided design (CAD), is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing.
