In this article, I am going to discuss the selection process of campus placement at Citicorp for various financial, technical, non-technical positions.

Selection process at Citicorp

Citicorp selection process has three rounds,

1. Written Test
2. Technical Interview
3. HR Interview

The first round is written test based on general awareness, banking industry, quantitative aptitude, analytical reasoning and verbal ability. Some questions are based on financial accounting.

Some of the sample questions are asked in written test,

1. In how many ways can we arrange the word ‘FUZZTONE’ so that all the vowels come together?

2. Shreyas travels from Delhi to Mumbai in 7 different ways. But he is allowed to return to Delhi by any way except the one he used earlier. In how many ways can he complete his journey?

Technical Interview Questions asked in Citicorp

Citicorp is a investment banking and financial corporation. Based on the requirements, Citicorp may also hire the candidates who have technical background. So in technical interview, the questions are asked on networking, operating system, computer hardware and many more.

Some of the sample questions are asked in Technical interview,

1. What is TCP/IP protocol?

2. Which technology is used to avoid interference in Bluetooth?

3. What is Symmetric Cryptosystems and Asymmetric Cryptosystems.

HR Interview Questions asked at Citicorp

The final round is HR interview. Interviewer may be asked some questions on investment banking like “What does an investment bank do?” If this question is asked, answer the question confidently, talking about this answer will show the interviewer your research skills and study about the company.
