Explain how FI modules and SD modules are integrated?

All organisational units within a client are subject to one business control.

Company code and business area represent a group from a financial accounting perspective.

A Company code represents an independent accounting unit. Several company codes can use the same charts of accounts.

A business area is a separate business unit for which cross-company code internal reporting can be carried out. Business are not limited by company codes.

  • FI and SD module integration contains:

Assign sales organisation to company code ( OVX3)
Assign sales area to credit control area (OVFL)
Assign purchasing organisation to company code (OX01)
Assign business area to plant/valuation area& division (OMJ7)
