GrapeCity Placement Procedure


Grapecity headquartered in Sendai, Japan and has been into the software industry for the past 25 years. The operations of Grapecity are spread across U.S and Asia. Grapecity was a part of Microsoft Early Adopter partnership and is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner and also a preferred solution provider.

The selection procedure of Grapecity comprises of 5 rounds beginning with the written aptitude test followed by technical round, and then comes the Technical and HR round and lastly the final HR round. The written test section comprises of questions based from C/C++ sections, DBM, OOPS and Aptitude section. The number of questions in this section range from 30 to 40 questions.

The next round is that of the Core technical round. The questions in this section are based on designing and basic technical questions covering the area of topic chosen by you in the college curriculum. Once you have successfully crossed the technical round, then comes the technical and HR round. Here in this round, you are asked questions not only covering the technical section but also questions based on details mentioned on your CV and questions covering the projects taken up by you during your college curriculum and a few situational questions as well.

The last and the final round is of the HR round. Here in this round the questions are based on personal and educational background of the candidate, hobbies, skills, strengths and weakness, goals and aims in life, etc.

Some of the questions observed during the interview are:

• What kind of information can a CRM project collect?

• How will you usability testing?

• Where will you categorize inspections, walkthroughs and Reviews, will it be under Quality analysis or Quality Control?
