Should people adopt a child?

The present society is termed as a modern society where people possess open views on many things like live-in relationships, unmarried mother and many more. There is one more thing that is gaining much more importance these days. Adopting a child is becoming a trend of season. It is especially seen with the celebrities and common people are thinking to follow them. DO you think people should adopt a child?

Yes

• It is a human touch that people can bring in to the society and can make it a better place to live in.

• It will help the many children to get the basic needs of life including clothes, food, and house and not to forget the proper education.

• It will help the people to cherish the happiness of parenthood as they cannot become parents due to medical problems.

• It will sort out the problem of increasing population as people can opt for one child policy and can adopt the other child to complete the family.

• It can bring happiness of parenthood to the people who don’t intend to get married in life, and still want to have a child.

• It is a great option for the people who are suffering from severe problems like Thallasaemia or other high genetic problems.

No

• Adoption can never bring the same happiness as that of being the parents of own blood child.

• To help the needy and under privilege it is not necessary to adopt them. Instead of adopting one child, the same money can be used for education of more than one child.

• There are times when in future if people get their own child they inculcate a differentiating nature between the real child and the adopted child.

• Single parenthood resulting out of adoption should not be allowed as it doesn’t secure the future of the child.

• Parents with only one child think it as a medium of entertainment of their first child and nothing beyond that.

Conclusion

Adopting a child is no doubt a very genuine act. It brings in immense benefits. It provides parenthood to the many people and is an important contribution in the development of society. The only concern associated with it is how you treat the child? If the people who adopt the child fail to provide the love, care and rights to the child, then adoption is futile.

  • Adopting a child is no less than giving birth to a child. it is much more than a noble cause and humanitarian jester. A child when orphaned almost losses his life to its whole extent. An orphaned child flows with the direction of wind and his life and the struggle becomes the fate of the child.

An orphaned child is not a curse. And the child is in no way to be blamed for the ill-fate that got stuck to them with loss of their loved ones. Such children when get a loving home, a family to bond with, get rejuvenated and a blossom smile runs across their face. The child could kill back the bad luck following them and get food, clothing, shelter, education, job, and above all the love beyond the mercy factor, for which the child had been thriving for.

Some people do love their adopted children as their own, but few others fail to give the same respect and affection to the adopted child after bearing their own. Such a scenario develops as the couples adopt the child just to remove the tag of being childless, and they actually fail to acknowledge the child as their own kid.

Adopting requires a broad mind and huge heart to give the child its share of happiness and joy. We can hardly find few couples who could positively help the upbringing of an adopted child. The adoption done with a pure heart and intention of love, care and affection is always appreciable.
