Reservation for women would help the society

Most of the offences and injustice today are on women. The victims are not just adults but also infants and old women.

For
  • There is no valid point till date which makes any women unequal in comparison to a man.
  • Giving reservation to women would give them encouragement. They would not be recognized in society as mere “domestic” workers.
  • Reservation should not be given to treat them superior; it should be given to help people understand that they are equal. This is because, few communities in India still believe in “female foeticide”. Little do they know that it’s a woman that delivers a man!
Against
  • If women need to do something for the society and country, there is no need for reservation.
  • Instead of concentrating on reservation, the society can be improved by concentrating on other ethical issues.
  • There have been many great and famous women in politics that did what they could for society. They didn’t any special reservation!
  • Women may undoubtedly take advantage of reservation to defend themselves.
  • Although reservations should be encouraged and Like they say “Great powers come with great responsibility”, it should become a moral responsibility of women to not misuse the same.

Reservation for women in education and jobs
If we want an equal status with our male counterparts, then..why reservation? I''m against reservation of all kinds. And regarding women reservation, I personally do not feel any positive aspects of the same in panchayat system or in the educational system or the work field. In panchayats, the husbands or their sons are the ones who are practically running the show. Once, I witnessed the president of one Panchayat with a broomstick cleaning the courtyard and serving tea...totally uninvolved in the discussion, where her husband proudly participated as the Panchayat''s representative . Then, why this reservation? Likewise, in education and jobs, let there be a tussle between the equals..let the deserving candidate, be it a boy or a girl get the seat/ post.
My suggestion would be to find out the areas where women need support..financially or socially. Every individual has a different capability and should be encouraged to pick up professions for which they are apt. Reservations carry the risk to make inefficient professionals which can jeopardize the entire structure in which we live.

Reservation for woman
woman should be given opportunity to work.As India a democratic , every woman have a right to live independently .There are so many young widows striving for living.If the govt provides such policies for the woman it would be helpful for the woman who are disabled , widows etc.

Group Discussion- Reservation of women would help the society
The reservation policy is not a poverty alleviation program, it is a mere tool to improve representation of the marginalized society. In India the reservation policy has been framed on caste, religion, region, however, they haven't been aimed to emancipate the most historically proven marginalized group, that is women.
A good society is one which is a gender equal society where gender equality is expressed and it is extremely vital to know the views of both the sexes and move over the digital architectural view of the state.
Reservation for women would promote policies and measures that are sensitized towards women and are cognizant from the potential dangers that women face in society.

Group discussion- Reservation for women
Rather than reservation, give women a chance to be born, educated and treated like their male counter parts. I am sure they have equal capabilities as those of man and do not need reservation.
