▼ India France Business Summit held at Chandigarh   [01-25-16]

PM Narendra Modi has addressed the India France Business Summit in Chandigarh appreciating the manner in which the CoP 21 negotiations have been coordinated. PM Modi also recalled a terror attack in Paris just a few days before CoP-21 meeting and how France has shown the way to combat terror without deviating from core principles. Linking security to the defence sector, Indian talent and French manufacturing capability can ensure that the world becomes a secure place. Around 16 agreements and MoUs were exchanged at the summit.

▼ Russia signs new anti-terror law   [01-4-16]

Vladmir Putin has signed a fresh anti-terror law permitting members of the security forces to open fire on suspected women, children and disabled terrorists. Amendment to the rules governing the use of force by Federal Security Service has been carried out. Intelligence agents will now take fingerprints on state borders and conduct searchers of any property in the event of suspected terror activity.
