▼ ASEAN Summit 2015 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   [11-26-15]

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit was held in the month of November 2015 at Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur. The theme for the summit was “Our People, Our Community, Our vision” and summit was chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. 10 ASEAN nations attended this summit.

▼ 23rd APEC Economic Leaders Summit held in Philippines   [11-23-15]

The 23rd Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders Summit was held in the Philippines capital of Manila from 18th to 19th November 2015. This summit had the following theme: Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World. The summit was chaired by Philippines President B. S. Aquino III. The next APEC summit will be held in Peru.

This declaration is entitled Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World: A Vision for an Asia-Pacific Community. This declaration outlines the following commitments for APEC members to do the following:
- Build inclusive economies;
- Foster micro, small and medium enterprises’ participation in regional and global markets;
- Build sustainable and resilient communities;
- Invest in human capital development; and
- Enhance the regional economic integration agenda.

▼ Ministry of Civil Aviation signs MoUs with 6 nations   [11-16-15]

ICAN (International Civil Aviation Negotiations),2015 was held in Antalya, Turkey and attended by 106 nations during which “Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)” was signed by India with six countries namely Finland, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Sweden, Norway &Denmark, Oman and Ethiopia and “Agreed Minutes”with Serbia, Greece, European Commission and “Record of Discussions” with Brunei Darussalam and Qatar.

▼ S. Korean and Japanese leaders meet for first one on one talks in 3 years   [11-3-15]

S. Korea and Japan met for their first one on one formal summit in 3 years and agreed to strengthen ties which have been plagued by historical and territorial disputes. Links between Japan and 2 Asian neighbours had fallen to a new low after Shinzo Abe took office in 2012.

▼ BRIC Nations Sign Moscow Declaration   [11-2-15]

BRIC Nations Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa and China on 30th October 2015 signed Moscow Declaration for co-investment of resources for supporting multilateral Research and Development Projects in mutually agreed areas. Declaration was signed at the third meeting of the BRICS Ministers for Science, Technology and Innovation held in Russian capital city of Moscow and reflects partnership in meeting global and regional socio-economic challenges, utilising such drivers as science, technology and innovation (STI).
