Career in photography

I am a B Sc graduate and have inclination towards photography. How can I approach to a career in photography? What are the job prospects for a photographer?

Photography is an interesting field for those who have inclination towards the photographic techniques. For getting started up with a career in photography, one need to go ahead the certification for the same. There are schools / institutes for photography which offers specialized courses that holds the bachelor’s and master’s degree in photography. These courses are important to shape the talent and get trained to become a professional photographer.

Professional photographers have a wide scope in terms of job prospects. Many of the photographers prefer to work as freelancers which provides them ample time to enjoy their work. Their field of work exists from news photography, wildlife photography, commercial photography, fashion photography etc. There are portrait photographers who like covering events and ceremonies, fine art photographers who sell the pictures of art etc. The photography being more of a passion among photographers, they choose their field according to their interests.
