Which course should I pursue in my graduation to study product design? What is its realistic scope?

To pursue a career in product design, one need to go ahead with the Bachelors degree in design. There are various colleges that offer the undergraduate and post-graduate courses in product design. To join this bachelor degree course, students need to appear for the CEED entrance exam. For the undergraduates the examination is commonly called UCEED i.e. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design. After clearing this exam, students can go ahead with the 4 years bachelor program at the various colleges like IIT-Bombay, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, DSK Pune, IILM-Gurgaon, IIT-Guwahati, Symbiosis Pune etc.

This is a fast growing field with good expected returns in terms of career growth and scope in this field. Lots of companies like AVM technologies, Unilever etc. open up opportunities for the designers in the job market. Product designers are on high demand in the progressing generations as the services created are to be used in workplaces, institutions, hospitality sector, homes etc.
